How do I turn a JPG file into a PowerPoint slide?
Drop your JPG or JPEG files into the converter above, choose whether to rebuild editable text or keep each picture untouched, and click start. Your browser downloads the finished .pptx presentation with no account and no software installation.
What is the difference between JPG to PPT and JPG to PPTX?
PPT is the legacy binary format from older Microsoft Office releases, whereas PPTX is the modern Open XML standard. This tool outputs a standard .pptx package so your slides open cleanly in current PowerPoint, Apple Keynote and Google Slides.
Can I convert JPEG to PPT?
Yes. JPG and JPEG are two file extensions for the exact same format. We detect the format from the bytes inside the file rather than the extension, so renaming .jpeg to .jpg changes nothing about the output. Apple HEIC photos are not supported; switch iPhone Camera Formats to Most Compatible or export as JPG first.
Can I convert several JPG images at once?
Yes. One batch accepts up to 20 files (20 MB per image and 80 MB across the run). Reorder the thumbnails before converting and choose either one merged presentation or individual .pptx files in a zip.
Will the text in my JPG really be editable?
Lines we can read with confidence become real PowerPoint text boxes you can click into and edit. Where lettering is too small, decorative or blurry to read safely, those pixels stay as part of the image, and the summary flags any slide kept whole as a picture.
Why did some text come back and some not?
Each line is only rebuilt when we can read it confidently, and heavy JPEG compression is the usual reason one falls short. Saving a photograph at a low quality setting blurs the character edges we depend on, so the same page can return noticeably more text when it was saved at a higher setting.
Does my JPG get re-compressed inside the slide?
When a JPG page is kept whole and does not require EXIF orientation rotation, the original JPEG bytes you uploaded are written straight into the .pptx package without a second pass of lossy compression.
What happens to my uploaded JPG files?
Your files are processed in memory and deleted as soon as the PowerPoint download completes, or within 10 minutes if left unclaimed. We never write uploads to disk or log your images, filenames or recognized slide text.
