How do I turn a .webp image into a PowerPoint slide?
Drop your .webp files into the converter, run the batch, and save the finished .pptx deck. Everything runs in the browser without an account or a prior PNG conversion step.
Can PowerPoint open WebP images directly?
That depends on your Office version. Microsoft added native .webp insertion in 2021 for Microsoft 365 and Office 2021, but older perpetual releases and unpatched machines still reject the format. See the Microsoft Q and A thread on using WebP images in PowerPoint, checked on 22 September 2026.
What image format is stored inside the converted deck?
Every WebP is decoded during processing and written into the .pptx zip container as a standard PNG, so any presentation app can display the slide regardless of its WebP support.
Does re-encoding a WebP into the slide reduce image quality?
No quality is lost during conversion because the output inside the slide is lossless PNG. Any compression artifacts that were already baked into a lossy WebP remain part of the source pixels, and the resulting .pptx file size will typically grow.
Will the text in my WebP become editable?
High-contrast printed wording is lifted into native PowerPoint text frames. Small lettering softened by lossy WebP compression remains inside the PNG background rather than being guessed.
Can I convert several WebP files at once?
Yes, up to 20 files per batch. You can export them as sequential slides in one presentation or choose the per-image zip option to get separate .pptx files.
Which other formats can I mix into the same batch?
You can mix JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF or SVG in the same upload queue. Each file is identified by reading its binary signature rather than trusting its filename suffix.
What happens to my uploaded WebP files?
Decoded .webp buffers are kept in memory only until your presentation is delivered, with an automatic 10-minute expiry for abandoned runs. We do not log or save your graphics.
