jpgtoppt changelog
Last change
Important changes to how jpgtoppt converts your images, newest first. Small fixes made on the same day are grouped together.
Clearer downloads and progress
A batch exported page by page downloads under its own name, and progress shows the current stage and pages done instead of an estimated percentage.
Better fonts for editable text
Rebuilt text uses Roboto for Latin script and Noto Sans SC for Chinese.
One deck or separate files
Download a single presentation, or one .pptx per image delivered as a .zip.
A simpler converter
One switch decides whether text is rebuilt, and the results simply mark any page kept as an image.
Fixed: Windows screenshots, HEIC and .svgz
Windows screenshots can now come back as editable text, and HEIC and .svgz files get a clear explanation instead of a generic error.
Seven image formats
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, GIF and SVG, recognised from the file itself rather than its extension.
Unreadable images flagged up front
Blank or transparent images are marked before conversion starts and left in your list for you to replace.
Reliable when busy
Conversions run independently and queue in arrival order, and a finished result waits up to ten minutes for you to collect it.
Text rebuilt on our own server
Images are read by recognition software on our own server and never sent to an outside AI service.
